They said the youngster, called "John Doe" in court papers, pleaded guilty in Manhattan federal court to one count of unlawful interception of electronic communications. Prosecutors said that John Doe stole the passwords by using "Trojan horse" computer programs that conceal other programs. They said Doe sent Trojan horse programs to AOL users via electronic mail messages that contained attachments. When users received the email messages and clicked on the attachments, the concealed programs would become activated.
