    Freedom 1.0 Guarantees Online Anonymity

Zero-Knowledge Systems is set to release Freedom 1.0, a privacy program
that provides total online anonymity, InfoWorld Electric reports. The new
software promises a secure and private Internet connection, even for
e-mail and chat room participation, without revealing any personal
information whatsoever. The program uses a combination of public key
encryption ranging from 128 to 4096 bit strength and anonymous rerouting
to make user profiles and cookies collected by Web sites useless,
effectively obliterating customer habit tracking by e-commerce firms

    (Source: National Journal, 2/10).
