The largest security meeting in the South America was hacked by brazilian
    group called "Brazilian r00ts".

They took control the event's web site, which was located at
http://www.mantel.com.br/eventos/security. The Security Forum'99 is the
most important event on information security in the South America and its
main purpose was discuss vulnerabilities and ways to defeat break-ins.

One of the most important guests was Christopher Klaus from ISS, as well
    as people from Axent.

The company responsible for the organization of the event, Mantel, was
    also hacked (www.mantel.com.br).
