While I have seen a few scans from China on the systems I manage
across multiple networks, the total number is less than 1/10th of one
percent of the volume of spam spewed from their open relays. Hell, I get
    more scanning from @home scriptmonkeys.
At this time, the only thing I regret is that this "attack"
wasn't planned to coincide with this past April 1st. Then I could have
put up a prank page on my own web sites saying "All Your Base Are Belong
To Wang" or something equally silly.
Until I start seeing mass listings of such defacements on or, I'll file this one away as yet another Hyped
    Beyond Hope story.
