                 NIAP TO HOST CONFERENCE ON CONTINUITY OF OPERATIONS

                                 Gaithersburg, Maryland
    
    In its continuing efforts to help promote the development of a more
    secure information technology infrastructure within the United States,
    the National Information Assurance Partnership, in cooperation with
    the Information Systems Audit and Control Association, the Association
    of Government Accountants, and PricewaterhouseCoopers, will conduct a
    one-day conference on 5 April 2002 entitled "Continuity of Operations:
    Planning and Response in Today's Environment". Mr. Newt Gingrich,
    former Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, will deliver the
    keynote address. The conference will take place at the National
    Institute of Standards and Technology, main campus, Gaithersburg, MD.
