Haaretz said Israel Radio had reported that the man, 23, was charged in a court in Jerusalem but did not mention when the website was vandalised. The site was set up last year, the report said, in a bid to attract a wider pool of applicants. In the past, the Mossad has recruited agents only by invitation. The site has an intro in Flash and after this runs, non-Hebrew readers have the choice of using a form in English to submit an application to join the Mossad. The report said prosecutors described the man as having deliberately broken into the system in what was described as a sophisticated attack. The man's defence attorney said he just wanted to make sure that whatever he was submitting in his application was secure and would not fall into the wrong hands, the report said. *==============================================================* "Communications without intelligence is noise; Intelligence without communications is irrelevant."
