US Ambassador to the Philippines Kristie Kenney personally turned over the "highly sophisticated" equipment to PNP Director General Oscar Calderon, according to a press statement. The donation consists of forensic towers, mobile forensic laptops, cell and PDA seizure software, sim card seizure and image master software, among others, said the statement. The gadgets are designed to help investigators decipher, collect and transport data from one computer to another, it added. Director Jesus Verzosa, CIDG chief, said the donation is the second initiative of the US State Department to help the PNP fight cyber terrorism. Copyright 2006 INQ7.net.
