Two senior representatives from the vendor community have joined the
board of the Jericho Forum.

Philippe Courtot, chief executive at security auditing software firm
Qualys, and John Arnold, chief security architect at IT services
business Capgemini, will now be on the board of the security-focused
user group. Their selection marks the first time a vendor has been
represented on the board.

Three end-user firm bosses have also been re-elected: Paul Simmonds of
pharmaceutical firm AstraZeneca, John Meakin of oil giant BP and Andrew
Yeomans of investment bank Dresdner Kleinwort. Adrian Seccombe of
pharmaceutical firm Eli Lilly and Steve Whitlock of aircraft
manufacturer Boeing remain on the board.

Both Qualys and Capgemini have been members of the Jericho Forum for
four years. The forum aims to help businesses with security
organisation, processes and products, as well as calling for industry
standards. It expects to focus closely on cloud computing this year.
