The board unanimously voted to spend about $3,000 on a Cisco firewall for security purposes, which Police Chief Michael Metzler said was “top of the line.” The board also unanimously approved the chief’s new policy on information technology use. The policy was discussed in executive session before the board voted on it publicly.
