The slow beginnings of Infopeace -- a working mission statement:
    http://www.infopeace.com/papers/mission.html --

Restrictions on liberty--- pacification, censorship, disarmament,
cryptography key recovery, forced financial equalization, state
monopolization, state espoused philosophies, and so on--- obstruct the path
to peace. Historically, groups like the Bolsheviki lie with lofty, idealist
rhetoric to mobilize the people behind them as a utility for personal power
gain, and then double-cross them in the end. Forced social control insults
the human spirit, increases the anger and chaotic unrest of the people, and
perpetuates the need for armament in defense of peace and freedom. Through
access to instant communication and the world's wealth of information via
tools like the Internet, we can each realize our potentials as individuals
and together strive to build a better world.

    [...]

There'll be more. The real trick is going to be proving that last sentence.
But perhaps toolusers and time will do that for us.
