    I've gotten 20-30 messages already regarding my 'damn macs' comment, so
    please give it a break. To retract my earlier statement, it does not now
    appear to be a problem with the mac, and instead now we are looking hard at
    the compaq server itself, specifically the network card that comes with it.
    SFM just doesn't seem to be binding correctly.
    
    Macs are not the evil incarnate, although they do seem to have some very
    loyal  users. If it were up to me I'd through the macs AND the NT machines
    out the window and run FreeBSD.
