OVERVIEW - -------- This update fixes several vulnerabilities in the GNU libc (glibc) package: potentially exploitable integer overflows in calloc(3) and xdr_array, and buffer overruns in the res_* functions which could result in a denial of service. SOLUTION - -------- Users of the EnGarde Professional edition can use the Guardian Digital Secure Network to update their systems automatically. EnGarde Community users should upgrade to the most recent version as outlined in this advisory.
