    SGI acknowledges the ftp client vulnerability reported by Steve Christey on
    BugTraq http://online.securityfocus.com/archive/1/302956 and is currently
    investigating.

    encouraged to assume all security vulnerabilities as exploitable and take
    appropriate steps according to local site security policies and requirements.
