The story was one of the worst hashups of the facts I have ever seen.
Doesn't anyone check the sources from NIPC.  

The story is actually 2 stories poorly reported.  One story was tree pollen
(analyzed and confirmed) in a resevoir in Portland, which was offline, and
the other was someone trying to get into a tank in Sprinfield.
