Folks, The Oregon Economic and Community Development Department (OECDD) has been tasked to help organize a town hall meeting to shape National Strategy and Secure Cyberspace, to be held in Portland on June 6th, 2002. They are organizing this at the request of the White House and industry leaders. Portland is one of only 6 cities in the country selected to host this event. The OECDD in turn has asked us in CRIME for the names of members that might be interested in being invited to attend and/or participate in this event, featuring Richard Clarke (bio URL below), the National Coordinator of Security, Infrastructure, and Counter-terrorism, Critical Infrastructure Assurance Office (CIAO). http://www.info-sec.com/ciao/bioclarke.html The deadline set for having the names in is May 6th, 2002. If you are interested, please RSVP to c-rsvp@private with the following information. Do not RSVP to your list in reply to this message. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Name: Company/Organization Affiliation: Title: E-mail Address: Sector: (For example, Business/industry, research and development, academia, public entities (state/local CIOs), critical infrastructures, etc.) ------------------------------------------------------------------ We will organize and pass on to the Oregon Economic and Community Development Department the information that we receive. =================================================================== Note: If you are also interested in the Hillsboro PD PRS (Police Reserve Specialist) program, we would additionally like to use your RSVP info here to start the development of a PRS skillsets database (kill 2 birds with 1 stone, if we can). Please enter these skills below. It will greatly assist in this effort, since we can just import your text into a spreadsheet rather than having to key it all in separately. Thanks!
