    Overview
Stolen data accounts for 66% of all financial losses caused by attacks on
corporate networks, according to the 2002 CSI/FBI Computer Crime and
Security survey. These custom-coded, targeted hacker attacks are the most
damaging and costly security breaches, affecting reputation, customer
relationships, and brand. Remote Access and VPN users are most vulnerable to
these attacks, as encrypted tunnels and authentication alone are not enough.
Legacy security technologies such as anti-virus, intrusion detection, and
perimeter firewalls also cannot eliminate these risks. This presentation
focuses on the increasing threats towards stealing corporate data and the
best security defenses for securing the enterprise laptop/desktop user.

technical understanding to enterprise organizations interested in securing
    their endpoint PCs.
