    Here's the next in the series of CRIME-OCATE productions:
    
    Speaker: Mark Pollitt, FBI 
    
    Topic:   "The Future of Computer Forensics"
    
    Mark's CV: Supervisory Special Agent (SSA) Mark M. Pollitt is a nineteen
    year veteran of the FBI and is currently the Director of the FBI's
    Regional Computer Forensic Laboratory (RCFL) Program. He is responsible
    for the support of the existing RCFL's in San Diego, California and
    Dallas, Texas as well as the development of new RCFL's located across
    the country. Agent Pollitt received his Batchelor's degree from Cornell
    University, has done post-graduate work in Forensic Science at George
    Washington University, graduated from the Advanced Management Program at
    the Information Resources College, National Defense University and holds
    a Master of Science Degree from Syracuse University. He served for over
    ten years as an officer with the United States Marine Corps and United
    States Coast Guard. Since joining the Federal Bureau of Investigation in
    1983, Mr. Pollitt has served in the Miami, Florida, St. Louis, Missouri,
    and Baltimore divisions.
    
    Topic Expanded:  SSA Pollitt will provide a brief history of computer
    forensics, an assessment of the current state of the field, and will
    consider what may be in store for the future. The future will be viewed
    from a corporate, law enforcement and academic perspective. A number of
    the drivers of change in this field will be identified as well as some
    constants. The role that training and education might play will be
    highlighted.
