SECURITY CONSULTANT As a security consultant you will be responsible for developing and implementing network security solutions for our clients. This may include deployment of security products, hardening systems, penetration testing, and security analysis. We prefer a candidate with strong technical, business and communication skills who can both assist our clients implement security solutions and demonstrate why they need secure systems. Candidates will be required to sign a strict confidentiality agreement and must be willing to undergo an extensive background check. REQUIREMENTS: - CISSP certification is preferred. - 2+ years of experience in network and computer security. - Extensive hands-on experience with network technologies, protocols, standards and products. - Demonstrated ability to resolve complex information security and network architecture issues. - Must have detailed, expert-level knowledge of Windows systems, including SQL Server, Exchange, and IIS. - Experience with intrusion detection products, specifically ISS RealSecure, is required. - 2+ years of experience with firewalls such as Checkpoint or WatchGuard. - Good general knowledge of hacking/security tools available. - Microsoft, Cisco, or Checkpoint certification is a big plus. - Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship skills. - Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Demonstrated problem solving skills and the ability work with clients to design security systems.
