Speaker info: Nick Jeremica is a Senior Consulting Engineer in the
Emerging Technologies group at Juniper, where he helps customers design
and implement secure network solutions. He has been an active member of
the security community for the past decade, helping build secure
networks for customers throughout the world in such diverse sectors as
finance, aerospace, and manufacturing, in addition to work with several
of United States national laboratories and the International Atomic
Energy Association. In addition to traditional consulting, Nick is
frequently involved in the development of education and certification
programs.

Topic: Building Network Awareness

In the melee of new security technologies available on the market, some
network managers have lost touch with very important networking security
fundamentals. Nick Jeremica will outline a philosophy developed by
Black Hat Consulting to maintain constant "Network Awareness" as well
discuss both open source and commercial tools to maintain maximum
security through maximum visibility.

See you there!
