More info to add to the fun. While our IIS servers here at UBC are having "readme.eml" download from their "index.html" pages whenever someone visits, the workstations are ending up with files begining with "mep" build up in their C:\WINDOWS\TEMP directory and these files, running as services are crashing all their other programs. Deleting them seems to do no good, and Norton AV is of no use yet. Datafellows claims to be able to stop the IIS worm however with their latest update. http://www.datafellows.com/v-descs/nimda.shtml On a side note, ZoneAlarm has done a good job protecting my workstation so far... ************************************* Eric R.
