       You'd think that File/Properties might show the author -- and well it
    might.  Also, you could ask when the document was first created, and match
    on that as well.  These are, however, too easy to forge.
    
       The GUID would help, probably: Ask both students on what computer the
    document was intially created.  Then match the GUID with the computer,
    and voila!
    
       Might help if you don't ask the question while both students are in the
    room at the same time. ;-)
