    Audit Working Group FAQ v0.1

The Computer Security Auditing Methodology Working Group was formed late
February 1998 by Bret Watson and Mark Teicher after a large amount of
discussion on the firewall mailing list about the failures in Computer
    Security Auditor certifications.

    Aims

Currently three aims are under discussion:

AIM 1: To define a body of knowledge that is required as part of the core
competency of a security analyst in either the auditing or design
    specialisations.

AIM 2: To produce a structured framework for Computer Security Auditing.

AIM 3: To encourage the sharing of knowledge, particularly in respect to
    computer security audit.
