I would not trust that the other companies with web pages are smart enough to: 1) know what holes to ask to have in the firewall; 2) protect their box well enough so that it does not become a source of attacks; 3) that even not counting the firewall, their box would not be a source of attacks. I also would not trust that the security provider does not make mistakes. I'm just more comfortable where my box is isolated from everyone else's.
