    Joe,

I checked it out for a client and found that it CAN be configured to use a
secure tunnel. It does use a JAVA applet, but the encryption is either SSL
or slimilar in functionality. It has been a while... I'll see if I can dig
    up some notes.

    Subject: IBM Host-On-Demand?

A user at one of our sites wants to use an MSIE plug-in called IBM
Host-On-Demand through the firewall. From what I can gather, it is
some sort of neat-o keen-o IBM XXXX terminal emulator, but it wants to
have several ports open through the firewall.

Does anyone know anything about the protocols used through those ports,
and why it needs all those ports?

    Thanks.
