    Last time I saw that error it was a DIMM which went bad.
    Were both boxes from the same order (and therefore RAM
    from the same batch possibly)?
    
    If you haven't already, try just replacing the RAM and
    see if that fixes it.  Could be many things, but that's
    one to try.
