Perhaps they don't have any strong feelings one way or another on this issue at all, which CERTAINLY doesn't support he idea that they'd hotly contest any such idea, or even that they WOULDN'T hotly contest the way we're heading now. Asking Linus to clarify seems a reasonable proposition, if a question could be posed that wasn't loaded and was suitably simple and to the point.
