    Stephen, thanks for starting this documentation; it is almost as if you
    were reading our minds, as we were discussing yesterday that we needed a
    higher-level document such as this one. :)
    
    I've attached a patch to your document that modifies the way structures
    are identified. I ran a grep in the kernel's Documentation/DocBook
    directory, and found that most uses of <structname>struct x</structname>
    had the word 'struct' within the tags, rather than outside the tags.
    (The exceptions I saw were of the form:
    "<structname>something</structname> structure..")
    
    So, while this patch may look large, it is really pretty simple.
