the shm_close hook (as far as Openwall is concerened) is not fully
resolved yet (IIRC).  the lock changes and setgroups changes are queued.
the Openwall module is b0rken as it calls a now obsolete interface
(get_empty_inode) and a fix is in the works (although it won't hold up
snapshot release).
