Folks have been asking me for an "official" announcement of LSM summer BoFs. A hefty subset of the LSM community will be attending the Ottawa Linux Symposium <http://www.linuxsymposium.org/2002/> , so we will be having a BoF there. "Official" is in the eye of the beholder :) We have requested a BoF slot from OLS, and if they go for it, then it will be "official" with OLS. If (for some reason) they don't, then we'll just convene a meeting anyway at the nearest pub :) We are hoping the BoF will be scheduled for Thursday night, but it has not been scheduled yet. We also have vague plans for an LSM BoF at USENIX Security, but haven't done anything yet. The official program <http://www.usenix.org/events/sec02/> is not up yet so I don't know if any other LSM papers besides ours (WireX/SELinux/Greg K-H/James Morris) have been accepted. This may or may not pull enough LSM folk to make a BoF worth while.
