I understand that you are planning to remove the security hooks that are related to modules (kernel/module.c). I am looking at the LSM framework ,as part of a student project, and I might need to use the module hooks. But a question first: Why would you want to remove the module hooks ? Is the LSM framework specific to the current LSMs out there ,ie LIDS,Capab, SElinux, owlsm, dte . What if someone develops a sec module (later on from now) that would take advantage of these hooks ? Would the maintainers put them back in?
