Question about security system call in LSM ?

Hi,
In <<Linux Security Modules: General Security
Support for the Linux Kernel>>, It says:
"LSM provides a general security system call the
allows security modules to implement new calls for
security-aware applications".
But, as we know, sys_security was rejected by the
Linux mainline kernel. then, Is there any other
security system call that is provided for
security-aware applications in LSM? or, Does LSM
still use the general security system call?

  Thank you.

Best Regards,
Park Lee
