[logs] double event on syslog-ng

Hi,

I'm running syslog-ng version 1.4.4 in a 3 tier setup and I'm seeing
duplicate messages from the machines at the lower tier. I snooped the
traffic at the middle tier, and for every 1 message received from the lower
tier, 2 are sent to the upper tier.

I'm about to upgrade to 1.4.14, but wanted to know if this is a known
problem, or if anyone else has run into this.
