I'm guessing here that the problem is timing out of sync amongst the various
devices, so that the stamps don't appear in date/time order? If that's the
case, can each component be set up to run Network Time Protocol, getting a
time sync from a host at your site or some public time server? Then
hopefully all the log processes would be running off the same page. Or am I
    misunderstanding the issue?

    Subject: [logs] NT/WT Log Synch?

    Question:
Need to stop log files being out of date/time order when running WebTrends.

    Situation:
Distributed components (2 NT FW modules, 1 Mgt Console, 1 Nokia VPN, 1
IP71), all logging is performed by Mgt Console. When WT is run, errors are
given as to a % of the log file not being processed.

    Solution:
How would I get that 1 log file synchronized so WT stops complaining? Any
    suggestions?

    TIA
