The Honeynet Project and the Honeynet Research Alliance are glad to anounce the latest Scan of the Month Challenge, for June 2002. On Feb 15, several members of the Alliance received a flurry of UDP packets that seemed to have no apparent purpose. This months's challenge, rated intermediate, is to figure out the attacker's intent from the snort traces of the event. Results will be released Friday, 28 June.
