    Greetings,

I have been searching around to see the current practices in automatic
analysis of logs. Their are works being done in the areas of AI,
Visualization and Data Mining to apply those methods to the problem of
reducing the amount of logs to manageable levels so that human analysts can
go through them. Though their are lots of work out there, I did not find
    any particularly exciting ones.

So my question is how analysis of logs is being done in real world now?
Are you aware of any cool project that promises to rescue the analyst from
    being flooded by logs?
