Hmm... it occurs to me that there might be some folks on this list
who are in the DC area who might be interested in kibbitzing at a
dry-run of my talk for LISA this year.  Details below.

I'm actually going to be giving a talk at LISA this year as well
(on opposite MJD's regex talk, unfortunately) that I also need to give
a dry-run of to check on the length, etc.  My session (details at
<http://www.usenix.org/events/lisa03/tutorials/tutsun.html#s9>) is
on log data analysis, and while almost all of my own log analysis is
done using Perl, the talk is intentionally not at all Perl-specific,
so I was originally going to use dc.sage for guinea pigs rather than
dc.pm; it appears that that group has discontinued their meetings,
however, so I now have to find a new location and test audience.

If any PMers would be interested in seeing the talk and giving me some
feedback, email me offlist; assuming I can find an appropriate location,
I'll probably be holding my dry-run sometime the week after next (i.e.
the 7th-13th of September), either in the evening (around 6-10pm) during
the week or in the early afternoon over the weekend; if some particular
dates/times are better than others, please let me know.
