Let me announce a new software. PitSaw: A package for transporting, analyzing logs ------------------------------------------- PitSaw is a package of codes , developed at RIKEN(Physical and Chemical Research Institue), for collecting, analyzing and reporting logs without difficulty. It's under the GPL/LGPL. Here is features: - It does P2P(is similar to WinMX ... currently) style communication, so has load balancing and avoiding single point of failure feature. - Pseudo multicast communication. The program communicates with other PitSaw programs using TCP, but can send logs to multiple receivers at same time. - The program can add, modify information of received log, and send other programs. You can easily write codes like "event filter". - Interface for Perl, Ruby and Ocaml. - The code runs on *BSD, Linux, Cygwin. It is a package of a C library(libpitsaw) and some applications using the library.
