Hi!
We are pleased to announce that tenshi 0.5 has been released, this is a
feature enhancement release.
tenshi is a log monitoring program, designed to watch one or more log files
for lines matching user defined regular expressions and report on the matches.
The regular expressions are assigned to queues which have an alert interval and a
list of mail recipients. Queues can be set to send a notification as soon as
there is a log line assigned to it, or to send periodic reports.
You can find the tarball at

The project page is http://dev.inversepath.com/trac/tenshi
changes since last release:
- improved sanity checks
- added debug levels, level 2 enables Net::SMTP debug messages
- replaced Getopt::Std with Getopt::Long
- filter feature is now per queue definable
- added special noprefix queue for unprefixed logs
- added supplementary groups clearing when dropping privileges
- moved to ISC-style license
Feedback is most welcome.
Cheers
