I seriously doubt this is related to the kernel patch. The changes between 2.2.19-ow1 and -ow3 are minimal and certainly not in the areas which are related to such behavior. You may want to check your hardware, your power sources, and look for possible radio interference. Somehow keyboards and keyboard controllers appear to be sensitive to that. I once had a {doorbell, motherboard, keyboard} combination where the doorbell (maybe 5 meters away) would reset or hang the keyboard. -- /sd
