Hi, We'd like to announce our forthcoming presentation on Openwall GNU/*/Linux (Owl) at CanSecWest/Core02 information security conference in early May in Vancouver B.C., Canada. The presentation will essentially be a replay of the one we did at NordU2002 this February, with minor updates. This is also your opportunity to get free Owl-current CD's (rather than have to download and burn an ISO) and indeed ask us any questions you might have, -- in person. If everything goes well, both me and Nergal will be there. They will use a pair of IRC channels on their private IRC network for the talks and I will be referring to an online copy of the slides. Honestly, this does sound quite weird to me, but why not give it a try. You may find them on the FTP mirrors under /pub/Owl/current/alphaev56/. The only thing we're still lacking to declare complete Alpha support is a proper boot loader (you currently have to use one you may have from another Linux install or download, build, and install one manually).
