Hi, [ This announcement is BCC'ed to some people who are not on the mailing lists visible in message headers. ] The Openwall GNU/*/Linux (Owl) CVS tree may now be accessed via our anonymous CVS server: CVSROOT=:pserver:anoncvs:anoncvs@private:/cvs or over SSH, with the following settings: CVS_RSH=ssh CVSROOT=anoncvs@private:/cvs The password is "anoncvs" and the module name is "Owl". You may use compression with either method of access to the anonymous CVS server, typically by specifying the -z3 to CVS and/or the -C option to the SSH client. This is read-only access to regularly updated snapshots of our primary CVS tree, hosted off a different machine using a modified version of OpenBSD's anoncvssh to run cvs chrooted. The machine is running Owl. Of course, it also remains possible to get CVS tree snapshots via the FTP mirrors. For those who are new to Owl, its homepage is at: http://www.openwall.com/Owl/ -- /sd
