Hi, thanks for all answers. We've now solved most problems. Some where from my own stupidity... For the record: I was under the impression that I needed to get admin rights to net use something... But what works (at least in our case): net use x: \\ip.ad.dr.es\c$ /USER:ip.ad.dr.es\administrator the_password typed from the iis-usr shell. It seems that the ip-adress in front of the user-account is necessary. Then, once the share is mounted, you can use all kinds of neet tools like netsvc.exe etc. from the ressource-kit... Even without hk.exe ... cheers, Rainer -- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Rainer Duffner Munich rainer@ultra-secure.de Germany http://www.i-duffner.de Freising ======================================== When shall we three meet again In thunder, lightning, or in rain? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- This list is provided by the SecurityFocus Security Intelligence Alert (SIA) Service.
