3Com's free version of their Network Supervisor will do this to the extent that there is any intelligence built in to the intermediary switches. If they are dumb hubs or switches, than all the downstream nodes will appear as if they are immediately plugged into their nearest upstream smart switch. I want to find out what computers are connected to which switches. I don't care if it tells me what type of switch it is, but accurately tell me what IP addresses are hanging off it. Is there a mapping software out there that will discover this stuff? Thanks! --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
