('binary' encoding is not supported, stored as-is) I haven't seen any information on the open udp ports for the ipaq PDAs. There are 3 ports open in addition to the NetBIOS name service, which gives up the name of the PDA, perhaps allowing someone to target one of a group of PDAs. This is a bigger problem because of the increasing use of unsecured public WIFI hotspots, if there are any exploitable vulnerabilities associated with these ports. Thanks. cmp --------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Lightning Console aggregates IDS events, correlates them with vulnerability info, reduces false positives with the click of a button, anddistributes this information to hundreds of users.
