I'm running Nessus-2.2.2a and on a few boxes Nessus is reporting "10426: SMB Registry : permissions of Schedule" as triggering. The intent of this rule is that Nessus has discovered that the Schedular registry area is writable by non-admin users - but on the machines that it triggers on, I have proved with regedit that they are only writable by administrator and SYSTEM! The NASL file looks OK, so I'm not sure what's going on there. Anything else I can look for to hunt down the cause? Thanks -- Cheers Jason Haar Information Security Manager, Trimble Navigation Ltd.
