[Plugins-writers] Cannot update Plugin

I am getting the following error while trying to
update the Plugins.. My system is behind the proxy, is
the firewall is blocking or ???

[root@abcxyc plugins]# nessus-update-plugins

Could not open connection to www.nessus.org - Socket

Could not retrieve the plugins MD5
