It deals with a new form of demonstration - Combined offline/online activities - basically DOS attacks on the corporate website. Unfortunately it is only available in German at this point. Brief summary: Currently an estimated 35000 people are deported from Germany per year after their request for asylum have been denied. About half of those travel on Lufthansa flights. The German "Initiativen Kein Mensch ist illegal" (KMII) [Initiatives No Human Is Illegal] has announced an online demonstration during the annual stakeholder meeting on June 20th, effectively looking to shut down the server through a DDOS attack. The protest is directed against the enormous economic benefits Lufthansa receives from this practice and the dangers for the people being forced to travel (2 deaths on LH flights, 1 on SABENA). As Lufthansa is positioning their website at the heart of corporate strategy, KMII find it the appropriate company portal to express their protest at.
