    January 30, 2002

    Dear Declan,

I believe I will be going into the hokey on Tuesday, Feb. 4th. The Court
ended its contempt order by stating, "A hearing will be held on Tuesday,
February 4, 2003 at 9:00 a.m. All parties must be present in person to
notify the Court of the current status of compliance with its Orders." And
before that hearing I have to submit a report to the court "setting forth
in detail his compliance with this Order..." I will obey the Court and
file the report, so there won't be any doubt by Feb. 4, 2002 that I will
have NOT taken ANY AFFIRMATIVE ACTION to transfer
www.TheWashingtonPostCHRISTIAN.com to the Washington Post. I have made
that decision regarding that particular domain name and I have publicly
vowed, "as I live and breathe."

So my question to you Declan and any of your readers that would care to
answer, "How long will I be in Jail?" The Order directs the Registrar to
transfer the domain names within 3 days whether I agree or oppose the
transfers. So lets say that by February 4th the
www.TheWashingtonPostCHRISTIAN.com has already been transferred, will I
still go to Jail? Or lets say that it gets transferred while I am in
Jail, will I then be released? Can the Court just put me in Jail for
life, or is there a specific prison term that is prescribed for my "crime"
of taking NO AFFIRMATIVE ACTION ? I'd like to know if anybody out there
has any answers for me? I learned so much the last time I asked your "jail
experienced" readers about what the Federal Jail experience would be like,
maybe someone knows how long of a sentence I am looking at here. I
registered www.TheWashingtonPostCHRISTIAN.com in France at GANDI.net. The
French always seem to go the opposite way the U.S. (or anyone else) directs
them to go, so Lord only knows if it'll ever get transferred, with or
without my AFFIRMATIVE ACTION. So with the French involved I am thinking I
might be in Jail a long time.

    Thanks Declan.

    Yours, Bill Purdy

    Dear Ms. Boyd,

Thank you for your quick email response regarding your have not provided
personal service to me of the latest contempt orders. I must tell you that
you are all WRONG, and case law is very clear that cannot be held in
Contempt or charged with violating any Contempt Order if have not
personally been served it. What is the problem anyway with you
people? Despite what YOU SAY my attorney may or may not have told you, I
am telling you that I HAVE NOT received personal service of the Contempt
Order. My attorney cannot testify for you and will not testify for you, or
against me! You must provide me with personal service of the Order, and
mailing it to me does NOT accomplish that under the law. As I already told
you several times, I will NOT be in town tomorrow to receive any mail, nor
on Saturday, and Sunday there is no mail. This is a very strange situation
where the attorneys for the Plaintiffs are "Avoiding Serving" the party of
a Contempt Order. I am NOT avoiding service, just the opposite. Can you
or you clients not afford the eleven dollar service fee? Please have your
server provider call me immediately at 651-451-1312 to arrange with me how
I can be personally served with the complete contempt orders as soon as
possible. You know my schedule for today, and I will cooperate in every
manner to give you the opportunity to personally serve me with the Contempt
    Orders.

Please also let me know when you have returned the three domain names to me
that you and The Washington Post ILLEGALLY took from me earlier today. I
am particularly concerned about www.BoycottWashingtonPost.com which I have
every right to have, which has NOT ever been demanded of me by the
Washington Post to not register or use, which I need to continue to
exercise my First Amendment Rights to speak on the internet to others to
boycott The Washington Post, and which to my knowledge the Court has never
directed the transfer of. Our nation was founded on boycotts, and for you
to take my www.BoycottWashingtonPost.com is a violation of my civil rights
under 42 USC. I have given you the benefit of the doubt and characterized
your ILLEGAL transfer as a "mistake", but if you refuse to respond to my
request, and refuse to correct your mistake, then I and the whole world
will know that you initiated that ILLEGAL transfer intentionally. Please
immediately notify me that you are immediately taking, and will continue to
take, appropriate action to transfer back to me the three illegal transfers
that you have initiated, but especially regarding my
    www.BoycottWashingtonPost.com.

    I await your immediate reply,

    Bill Purdy :)

    Dear Mr.. Purdy:

I have confirmed with your counsel, Mr.. Altman, that you have received a
copy of the Court's order and have actual knowledge of its contents. I
have also confirmed with him that personal service of the order is not
required. As a matter of courtesy, I will send you a copy by regular
mail. No additional service is necessary and your understanding of the
legal requirements regarding the same is simply incorrect.

    Sincerely,

    Felicia J. Boyd

Dear attorneys representing Plaintiffs and in particular The Washington Post,

Enclosed and copied below is the email I just recieved from North Shore
Solutions which notifies me that you have initiated the listed transfer of
domain names. This is to immediately notify you that YOU have initiated
transfers to The Washington Post of three domain names that I am informed
have NOT been granted by the Court. Those three domain names that you have
ILLEGALLY transferred to The Washington Post are: WASHINGTONPOST.WS,
    BOYCOTTWASHINGTONPOST.COM, and ABORTWASHINGTONPOST.COM. Please correct
your mistake immediately and return my property to me immediately that you
have ILLEGALLY taken from me so I can continue to speak about The
Washington Post on the internet in the manner in which I so choose as the
First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution guarantees me the right to
do. Please notify me when you have initiated the transfers back to me.

Also, although I have notified Felica Boyd's office that I am home and
waiting for service, I have NOT received service of the most recent
contempt orders from the court. I will be home here until 2:45 PM central
time, at which time I will be going to downtown Minneapolis to pick-up my
sister at the Greyhound bus depot. I will then be returning home by about
4:30PM. I will not be available for personal service tomorrow. Please
have whomever you are going to have personally serve me with the contempt
orders to call me at 651-451-1312 so I can arrange to receive personal
service of the Contempt Orders which as an attorney you well know is
    REQUIRED for any contempt orders.

    Your truly,

    Bill Purdy :)
