It remains a stealth copyright bill, and among the provisions is language that will: * End fair use of copyrighted material in Colorado * Make it a criminal offense to own an MP3 player * Make it a criminal offense to tell someone else where to find or how to use P2P client The bill is still intended to classify audio and video recordings as "Communications Services" and the studios and their distribution channels as "Communications Service Providers." ISPs and others would do well to do everything in their power to defeat this bill. If theft of cable and broadband services is a problem, fix that problem. You don't need helpful legislative language from the MPAA to do that.
