    I saw the National Post story on the plane to Ottawa yesterday. It was the 
    top story with a banner headline. I haven't read the auditor general's 
    report myself, but if the allegations are correct (I have no reason to 
    believe otherwise) it really is a fiasco up here.

    I don't know if you've seen this, but Canada's Privacy Commissioner fiasco 
    continues.
    
    Credit where credit is due: At least Canada will punish what wrongdoing is 
    found.  Europe probably gives its privacy bureaucrats <i>carte blanche</i> 
    to free-spend tax dollars.
